New Game Pass Quest: More Players and More Ways to Earn Rewards Go Live Today!

Xbox Rewards is getting a major overhaul! Earn more points through Game Pass Quests and new ways to redeem points!

The new year brings big changes to the Xbox world as the Microsoft Rewards program is overhauled. Don’t worry, it gets better with more rewards and more ways to earn them.

But before we get into the details, it’s important to note that due to Microsoft’s commitment to healthy, age-appropriate gaming, points earned through gameplay will only be available to gamers 18 years and older. So, if you don’t fall into this age group, the Rewards Hub on your console, and the Xbox App on PC and mobile will no longer be available to you.

However this does not affect previously earned points if you are under 18 years old. You can claim them on the Microsoft Rewards site and can still earn points through parent-approved purchases, qualifying searches on Bing, and completing Microsoft Rewards Daily Sets. In other words, non-gaming activities.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s move on to gifts for ages 18 and over.

    New Game Pass Quests

Starting January 7, Game Pass Quests that were previously exclusive to Ultimate members are now also available to PC Game Pass subscribers. Earning points is the same: complete missions via the Rewards Hub in your profile and play games in the GP catalogue.

The reward system is broken down into 4:

    • Daily Spin – Play any game from the Game Pass catalog for at least 15 minutes to earn 10 points a day.
    • Weekly Series – Play at least five days a week to complete a streak. The more days you play, the more points you earn. A 2-week streak will earn 2x the base streak points, a 3-week streak will earn 3x the base streak points, and anything over a 4-week streak will earn 4x the base streak points.
    • 4 Monthly Packages – Play four different games (at least 15 minutes each) every month.
    • 8 Monthly Packages – Play eight different games (at least 15 minutes each) every month. The 4 Month Package is also important.

Eligible games in the Game Pass catalog are games that do not require a third-party launcher such as Battle.net

    Xbox Rewards Program Update

Updates to the Rewards program are not exclusive to Game Pass Missions, of course. All Rewards members can earn 150 points with the new PC Weekly Bonus. To get it, you have to play 5 or more days a week for at least 15 minutes. Please note that this is also only available to gamers aged 18 and over.

Points earned through the Rewards program can be used to purchase Xbox gift cards, new games, in-game content, and even donations to charities.
