Ubisoft has delayed several games, which are believed to have come from the most established IPS, until 2026 and 2027 after the launch of the successful Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The company has not mentioned what games are delayed, but it is believed that Ghost Recon, Assassin’s Creed, and Far Cry are among the affected franchises.
Ubisoft has confirmed during the recent year-end financial income report that several titles have been pushed back to 2026 and 2027 so that they can focus on quality rather than quantity.
In his financial income report, Ubisoft said he had made a decision to postpone several “largest production” after reviewing the “pipe”. Appoint this new launch and the success of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, developers and publishers said they were creating “the best conditions for success.”

In the income report, Ubisoft did not reveal which game was delayed, but reported by Eurogamer, CEO Yves Guillemot hinted that the delayed game belongs to Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Division, and Franchise Farab Far Cry Cry.
Ubisoft has several games in developing, including remake of splinter cells, ghost recon sequel, two Assassin’s Creed games, Division 3, and the next Far Cry entry.
